【Job Description】
• Product Development:
- Assist in the formulation and improvement of cat food products to ensure superior quality and nutrition while maintaining appropriate product costs.
- Collaborate with external advisors, nutritionists, and food scientists to develop innovative recipes and maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with production team to ensure efficient production processes while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Oversee product sample preparations for internal and external testing, ensuring consistency and adherence to formulation standards.
- Assist in testing program preparations (acceptability test, quality test, etc.)

• Project Management:
- Oversee multiple R&D projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring that all deliverables, timelines, and budget targets are met.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product launches.

• Regulatory Compliance:
- Collaborate with local authorities and regulatory bodies to secure product formula registration numbers, ensuring that all products meet legal and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for product registration, including formulation details, ingredient certifications, and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with external laboratories for nutritional and quality tests.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and ensure all formulations comply with national and international guidelines for pet food.

• Market & Trend Analysis:
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for new product development and improvements to existing products.
- Monitor competitor activities and supplier innovations to contribute to strategic discussions on product portfolio expansion.

• Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to production and marketing teams, helping them understand product features, ingredients, and nutritional benefits.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to product formulation and processing.

【Qualification】
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Nutrition, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in R&D, preferably in pet food or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of pet nutrition and production, particularly in cat food products.
- Familiarity with local regulatory requirements for pet food registration and compliance.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovation and process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively across departments and with external regulatory bodies.
