【Job Description】
⎼ Design, develop, and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety within the production of industrial functional parts, film, tape, and OA equipment parts.
⎼ Analyze existing production processes, identify bottlenecks, and lead continuous improvement initiatives, applying methodologies to drive yield and quality improvements.
⎼ Provide technical data and analytical support to the production planning team to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.
⎼ Conduct regular analysis of process data and prepare clear, concise reports for the Japanese highlighting key performance indicators, issues, and proposed solutions.
⎼ Research, specify, design, and cost-justify various tools, machinery, and equipment necessary for new or revised manufacturing methods (Production Technology duties).
⎼ Conduct detailed process analysis and evaluations (e.g., cycle time, scrap rate) and apply statistical methods (e.g., SPC) for quality improvement and cost reduction.
⎼ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality Assurance, R&D) to ensure seamless process integration and adherence to product specifications.
⎼ Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
⎼ Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and minimize production downtime.
⎼ Ensure all processes comply with applicable industry standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
⎼ Other related tasks as assigned.

【Qualification】
⎼ Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
⎼ Proven work experience as a Process Engineer or Production Technology Engineer, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
⎼ Prior experience in the production of film, tape, or related functional parts, especially those used in OA (Office Automation) equipment, is a significant advantage.
⎼ Strong knowledge of process design, optimization techniques, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
⎼ Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly present technical data, reports, and improvement plans to management including Japanese.
⎼ Proficiency in using engineering software (e.g., CAD, process simulation software) is a plus.
⎼ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
⎼ Ability to communicate effectively and lead cross-functional project teams.
