On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, we participated in a seminar on the topic “Understanding Japanese Work Culture and Values” at O-NES Tower.
This seminar was a collaboration between leading Japanese companies and the Thaibiz project, focusing on the topic “Understanding Japanese Work Culture and Values.” The speaker was Mr. Kantatorn Wannawasu, CEO of Mediator Co., Ltd., an expert with experience in business matching between Thai and Japanese companies, and a marketing consultant for both the Japanese public and private sectors. This seminar was suitable for executives and Thai employees in Japanese organizations, aimed at helping them understand Japanese perspectives, learn about the differences between Thai and Japanese cultures, and get to know Japanese people better.
During the event, there were workshop activities and questionnaires about working together between Thai and Japanese people. These activities helped us learn about the fundamental work values of Japanese people and the work culture in Japanese organizations, leading to more effective and efficient collaboration.
From this seminar, we gained a deeper understanding of Japanese people and can apply this knowledge to working with Japanese colleagues or within Japanese companies in the future.
