Participating in the Commemoration of JETRO Bangkok’s 70th Anniversary
On Tuesday, September 24th, we had the honor of attending the 70th anniversary celebration of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Bangkok, held at the ballroom of the Park Hyatt Bangkok.
JETRO Bangkok organized this event to commemorate its 70th anniversary in Thailand. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Norihiko Ishiguro, Chairman and CEO of JETRO headquarters in Japan. The event was well-attended by representatives from both the public and private sectors, as well as business leaders from Thailand and Japan.
For us at Personnel Consultant , a long-standing business partner with JETRO Bangkok, it was a privilege to be invited to this special celebration. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to JETRO Bangkok on this significant milestone.
JETRO Bangkok has played a pivotal role in strengthening trade and investment relations between Thailand and Japan. During the forum, JETRO presented highlights of its activities over the past 70 years, along with an overview of current projects. There was also a panel discussion covering various perspectives, and a “Startup Showcase” pitch event was held as part of the program.
JETRO Bangkok was established in Thailand in October 1954, making it the second oldest of JETRO’s 75 overseas offices located across 55 countries worldwide.
