Delivery of Water Purifiers under the ROTARY PROJECT LINK 2024-2025 Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Toyama City
On November 22, Ms. Maki Kawamura, Director of the Japan Information Center at the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, along with representatives from the Rotary Club of Toyama City, the Rotary Club of Tokyo Osaki, and the Rotary Club of Bangkok Surawong, participated in a ceremony to deliver water purifiers, educational materials, and sports equipment to two schools in Saraburi Province. Mr. Yasushi Odahara, a representative from Personnel Co., Ltd., also attended the event.
The initiative aims to provide clean drinking water for teachers, students, school staff, parents, and the local community while supporting education and teaching activities. The ceremony was honored by the presence of the Deputy Director of the Saraburi Provincial Office of Primary Education and local community leaders.
The two schools that received the donations are:
- At 10:00 AM, Wat Rong Saeng School, Nong Khae District, Saraburi Province.
- At 1:30 PM, Wat Ban Pho School, Huai Pa Wai Subdistrict, Phra Phutthabat District, Saraburi Province.
Both schools warmly welcomed the delegation with great appreciation.
This project has received generous support from the Rotary Clubs of Toyama, Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Kumamoto. Several members from Japan traveled to Thailand to participate in the activities. It was truly heartwarming to see the smiles on the children’s faces during this meaningful occasion.
